Borrowing
Vancouver Courthouse Library:
- 7 days locally (within Metro Vancouver)
- 14 days outside Metro Vancouver
Victoria, Kamloops, Kelowna, New Westminster, Prince George, and Nanaimo Courthouse Library:
- Overnight for "Overnight Loans"
- 7 days for regular loans
Small Branch Libraries (Campbell River, Chilliwack, Courtenay, Cranbrook, Dawson Creek, Duncan, Fort St. John, Golden, Nelson, North Vancouver, Penticton, Port Alberni, Port Coquitlam, Powell River, Prince Rupert, Quesnel, Rossland, Salmon Arm, Smithers, Surrey, Terrace, Vernon, Williams Lake):
- 7 days for textbooks
- Overnight for law reports and loose-leaf services
Renewals
Vancouver Courthouse Library:
- Locally (within Metro Vancouver) for an additional 7 days, up to two renewals
- Outside Metro Vancouver for an additional 7 days, one renewal
Victoria, Kamloops, Kelowna, New Westminster, Prince George, and Nanaimo Courthouse Library:
- For an additional day for overnight loans, up to 2 renewals
- For an additional 7 days for regular loans, up to 2 renewals
Renewals are allowed providing:
- the item has not been requested by someone else
- the borrower has no outstanding charges or blocks, including a maximum of 5 overdue items
