We are excited to bring you a number of skills based CPD opportunities, available to BC lawyers everywhere via webinar.  

Wills Basics 
Offered by Access Pro Bono and Courthouse Libraries BC, this presentation is targeted at non Wills and Estate practitioners who are looking to get involved in providing pro bono will drafting for low income seniors and end-of-life clients. Participants may attend in-person at the Courthouse Libraries in Vancouver or by webinar. The Justice Access Centre in Victoria will also be hosting a group viewing of the webinar. Participants in this course may claim up to 1 hour of CPD credit.

Standard of Review on Appeals and Judicial Reviews
This one hour webinar will review the subject of standard of review on appeals from decisions made by courts and on appeals and judicial reviews of decisions made by tribunals. This course will provide an overview of the theory of standard of review, the leading cases and current issues with their application. Participants in this course may claim up to 1 hour of CPD credit.

Administrative Law Resources

A beginner’s guide to locating administrative law resources. In this webinar we’ll show you some of the research tools available through the Courthouse Libraries BC for locating tribunal decisions and conducting judicial reviews. The resources covered will focus on helping you to locate precedents and stay up-to-date in the area of administrative law. Participants in this course may claim up to 1 hour of CPD credit.
