In this webinar we will explore recent changes to family law in BC and their impacts on the parenting experiences of women with abusive or harassing exes.

Our guest speaker, Zara Suleman, will consider some common legal challenges including parenting assessment reports, denial of parenting time, relocating with a child, and litigation harassment. Zara will offer lawyers and frontline service providers who assist women fleeing abuse with effective strategies to cope with and address these issues.

Zara practices family law and fertility law and she is also a certified family law mediator and collaborative law practitioner. Zara has worked as an independent legal researcher and consultant and was also the Director of the Family Law Project for the West Coast Women's Legal Education & Action Fund (WCLEAF).

Participants in this course may claim up to 1.5 hours of CPD, including 1.5 hour of client care and relations credit.

We also want you to know how to get the most out of your library space.  We'd love to invite you for a Library tour.
