Courthouse Libraries BC maintains a subscription to desLibris.

desLibris is a services that allows access to Canadian legal text and public policy documents. You can visit desLibris to borrow books from the collection published by Irwin Law, which includes the Essential of Canadian Law Series. Books can be read via browser, or through the DITA Reader app.

How it works

Browse or search the desLibris library. When you find what you're looking for, desLibris makes it easy to print, download PDFs or email your results. If you're on the go or on a mobile device, you can download the DITA Reader mobile app to read using your Android or iOS device.

On-site

desLibris is available on-site on any Courthouse Library Public Access Computer. 

Remote Access to Subscription Databases

desLibris is a part of the Courthouse Libraries free online library available to BC lawyers, articling students and notaries. To enjoy remote access to desLibris you must have a Courthouse Library account with remote access. 

If you don't have a website account you can visit registration to sign up and request access.
