From the Supreme Court of British Columbia:
The Supreme Court will begin sitting at the new Abbotsford Law Courts, 32375 Veteran’s Way, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 0B3, on February 1, 2021.
If an order to stand trial is made in the Provincial Court in Abbotsford on February 1, 2021 or later, the fix-date hearing for the case will take place at the Abbotsford Law Courts. The trial will also be scheduled to be heard in Abbotsford.
Fix-date hearings will take place on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. starting on February 2, 2021.
Transition period: For criminal cases from the Abbotsford Provincial Court with a fix-date hearing in the Supreme Court before February 2, 2021, the fix-date hearing will take place in the Chilliwack Law Courts, and a Chilliwack file number will be assigned. However, the trial will be scheduled to be heard at the Abbotsford Law Courts.
