Effective today, Monday May 16, 2022, in Kamloops a pilot of an informal trial process is being launched for family law trials under the Family Law Act in the Provincial Court. This will be available if:
• the court file is in the Kamloops Provincial Court registry;
• all parties have filed a written consent form to participate in an informal trial; and
• the trial judge agrees an informal trial is appropriate.
