Professional development webinar: an introduction to Divorcepath
Description
Join us for a professional development webinar: an introduction to Divorcepath.
Divorcepath is a cloud-based family law software designed to streamline the preparation of child and spousal support calculations, as well as court forms and agreements. This webinar will show lawyers how to efficiently navigate this tool to save time, reduce errors, and better serve clients. Now available on public access computers at all Courthouse Libraries BC locations, no account or login is required. Users can enter background and financial information, and it will automatically carry through to generated forms and calculations. All information is automatically deleted at the end of each session, ensuring privacy and confidentiality while supporting greater access to justice.
For more information, please review : https://www.divorcepath.com/public-access-terminals and https://www.courthouselibrary.ca/how-we-can-help/legislation-case-law/subscription-databases/divorcepath

Legal research course
This course, which is eligible for CPD credit, is a series of videos that demonstrate how to plan a research strategy and employ specific research skills. In the videos we show you how to use popular legal research tools that are free (CanLII) or that you can use for free at the BC Courthouse Libraries.
Take the course (including self-assessment quiz questions) through the Law Society's Brightspace platform.
