Chief Judge Gillespie has issued the following updates today that will be effective September 18, 2023 in the Northern, Interior, Island and Vancouver Regions, and October 16, 2023 in the Fraser Region:
Revised CRIM 05 Hearing of Bail Applications: adds “Background”, updates “Purpose”, and incorporates and updates processes from CRIM 14 Northern, Interior, and Island Bail Pilot Project and NP 26 Chilliwack Provincial Court Bail Pilot Project.
New CRIM 18 Counsel Document Submission Protocol for Bail and Sentencing Hearings: will replace Appendix “B” to CRIM 14 Northern, Interior, and Island Bail Pilot Project.
