We wanted to give you all one last reminder that LawMatters is hosting a free webinar on November 22 to introduce two free legal help programs: Stand Informed and SHARP Workplaces. Stand Informed is a recently launched service that provides free legal advice to British Columbians who have experienced sexual assault. SHARP Workplaces provides advice and support to those who have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace.

This Q&A style webinar with introduce you to both programs and include information on their services, who can access them, and how. The speakers will also define workplace sexual harassment and explain what patrons can seek to achieve with the programs’ help. This webinar has been specifically designed for public library workers so you are better able to make referrals to these two programs.
You’ll also have the opportunity to ask the speakers your own questions, either by submitting them during registration or posing them live during the webinar.
