Training Available for Public Library Staff

Our goal at LawMatters is to help public library workers increase capacity when dealing with legal topics in their libraries, both on the reference desk and in their collections. One way we do this is by offering training (both in-person and virtual) in legal reference work to public libraries. Topics covered include demonstrations of online and print legal resources, the difference between legal information and legal advice, government and court forms, and opportunities to use what you’ve learned in practice scenarios.
