The BC Provincial Court has just issued its 25th annual report! Once again, the Court shares detailed operational data, judges’ demographics, complaint summaries, and accounts of judges’ work both in and out of the courtroom. It does so in an engaging manner, with colourful graphics, photos taken by judges, judicial justices and staff, and even a judge’s paintings.
Highlights of the Court’s 2024/25 report include:
- Progress made in helping separating families resolve issues sooner
- Expanded use of technology to make filing documents and attending court more convenient and increase the Court’s efficiency
- Launch of a new, user-friendly website with new videos
- Holding court in more Indigenous communities
- Hosting international delegations interested in our Indigenous courts
