The Building Code Appeal Board provides rulings to settle disputes between building officials and owners/builders/designers over the interpretation or application of the BC Building Code.
Decisions dating back to 1975 (Appeal #1) are available on the Building Code Appeal Board web page. Certain numbered appeals may have been resolved or cancelled and will not appear on the website. Submission requirements and application forms are also available on the site.
Print copies of earlier decisions (1975 to 1995) are available in the Vancouver Courthouse Library.
