The Queen's Bench Act, 1998, S.S. 1998, c. Q-1.01, s. 28 (in force July 1, 1999), allows Saskatchewan judges to make the Rules of Court, also called the Queen's Bench Rules.
They are not made by regulation or statute, but are published in the Saskatchewan Gazette, Part I, pursuant to s. 28(3) and (4) of the The Queen's Bench Act, 1998. Part I of the Gazette contains official government notices, orders in council, and those private notices required to be published by statute.
The Courts of Saskatchewan website provides access to the Queen's Bench Rules, Court of Appeal Rules, Practice Directives, the Tariff of Costs and related documents.
