Court Rules - Yukon
Last revised September 12, 2022

The Supreme Court of the Yukon was required by s. 38 of the Judicature Act, R.S.Y. 2002, c. 128, to use the Rules of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, but was also authorized to make rules of practice and procedure in civil and criminal matters.

This was amended by An Act to Amend the Judicature Act, S.Y. 2008, c.16, s.2, (in force September 15, 2008), replacing the Rules of the Supreme Court of British Columbia with the Rules of the Supreme Court of the Yukon (OIC 2009/65).

The Yukon Gazette, Part II contains Regulations, Orders-In-Council pursuant to Yukon Statutes, and other Ministerial or Legislative Orders.
