Royal Canadian Mounted Police - Code of Conduct

The current Code of Conduct for the RCMP can be found in the Schedule of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Regulations, 2014, SOR/2014-281. Part 3, s. 18 of the Regulation states that "All members must conduct themselves in accordance with the Code of Conduct set out in the schedule."

SOR/2014-281 repealed and replaced the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Regulations, 1988, SOR/88-361, Part 3, ss. 38 to 58.7.

SOR/2021-58, in force March 29, 2021, amended the Code of Conduct by adding sections 57.5 - 57.7 in accordance with intimate partner violence and abuse (Clare's law) protocol.

The Regulation is written under the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act (RSC 1985, c. R-10)
