Standard Directions

Under the old BC Supreme Court Civil Rules: Rule 49(3), Form 59A

Under the new (as of July 1, 2010) BC Supreme Court Civil Rules: Rule 18-3(3), Form 73 or 74

They refer to "the standard set of directions, in the form directed by the Chief Justice, governing the conduct of the appeal".  There are only two.

FPD - 7:   Standard Directions for Appeals from the Provincial Court Pursuant to the Family Relations Act. Before the change to the BC Supreme Court Civil Rules, it was called Family Practice Direction #8, and copies can be found in the B.C. Annual Practice (available in most courthouse libraries):

PD - 21: Standard Directions for Appeals from Provincial Court - Small Claims Act
Before the change to the BC Supreme Court Civil Rules, it was called Standard Directions for Appeals from Small Claims, and copies can be found in the B.C. Annual Practice (available in most courthouse libraries):
