Treaties (Canada) - Canada International Treaty Information
Last revised September 03, 2026

Since its inception in 1928, the Canada Treaty Series is the official publisher of all Canadian treaties entered into force. It provides in-force dates and party information for bilateral (two states) multilateral (many states) in a searchable database with full text downloads.  Originally published in print volumes, the Canada Treaty Series went completely digital in April 2014 and treaties entered into since then are only published in electronic format on their website. Courthouse Libraries holds the original print volumes in microfilm.

Canadian treaties can also be searched in the United Nations Treaty Series, a database of all treaties entered into by United Nations members or its predecessor database, the League of Nations Treaty Series, linked below.
