Join LawMatters and Community Legal Assistance Society (CLAS) for a free webinar introducing two of their free legal help programs: Stand Informed and SHARP Workplaces. Stand Informed is a recently launched service that provides free legal advice to British Columbians who have experienced sexual assault. SHARP Workplaces provides advice and support to those who have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace.

This webinar will be a Q&A style orientation to the two programs and is intended specifically for public library workers in BC. The webinar will provide an overview of each program, including what their services are, who they are for, how patrons can reach them, and what they can expect when they do. The speakers will also define workplace sexual harassment and explain what patrons can seek to achieve with the programs’ help.
You’ll also have the opportunity to ask the speakers your own questions, either by submitting them during registration or posing them live during the webinar.
