Park Board bylaws – Vancouver

Under the provisions of the Vancouver Charter(link is external), SBC 1953, c. 55, Part XXIII(link is external), the Board of Parks and Recreation, or “Park Board”, is authorized to pass by-laws for the control, regulation, protection and government of the parks and persons who may be therein.

Section 485 deals with the powers of the Park Board, and section 491 is about passing, amending, and repealing by-laws.
